Crafted in Lone Tree, Colorado, the Highlander “Dragon Skin” Gold Fountain Pen rises from fire and fantasy to assert itself as a showpiece for collectors and writing aficionados. Each pen is one-of-a-kind, hand poured and hand-lathed in richly patterned resin, and trimmed in brilliant gold hardware. 

Design & Aesthetic

Its body is a visual odyssey: swirling ribbons of amber, teal, molten gold, and shadowed amber tones evoke dragon scales shimmering under flame. No two pens echo the same pattern—each is sculpted with individuality in mind. 

The cap and barrel finials are engraved with Highlander’s signature Rampant Lion, a symbol of strength, heritage, and creative power. The elegantly engraved center band bears a classic “H” motif, a subtle hallmark of distinction. 

Writing Experience

Performance is as refined as the aesthetics. The pen arrives fitted with a #6 Medium JoWo 24k gold-plated nib for visual harmony.

It’s compatible with standard international cartridges and includes a converter, giving users the flexibility to switch between bottled ink and cartridges.

The cap is intentionally non-postable—a choice that keeps the pen balanced and comfortable for prolonged writing sessions.
